Welcome to Cascades Montessori Middle School

At CMMS, we provide a middle school Montessori program where adolescents are allowed to explore and develop their moral, intellectual, emotional, physical and social selves, as well as cultivate the courage and skills necessary to actively participate in their world.

CMMS acknowledges that this land that we work, study, and live on is the traditional territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, specifically the Lhaq'temish (Lummi) and Nuxwsa'7aq (Nooksack) Tribes. We recognize that were it not for their historic and continued stewardship of this land, we would not be able to provide this beautiful and natural environment for our students. This acknowledgment by no means takes the place of a genuine relationship with indigenous communities, but serves as a reminder to carry on their stewardship and honor their work in our every action and thought.
